Police Arrest Six Drug Suspects in Solo
Solo, ANTARA JATENG - Police in the Central Java city of Solo have arrested six people on charges of abusing and trafficking drugs in the past week.
The six drug suspects were arrested in five different places, with one of them, identified by his initials as KI, being a drug recidivist, Chief of the Solo City Police Adjunct Senior Commissioner, Ribut Hari Wibowo, noted here on Thursday.
KI was taking conditional leave when the police arrested him on charges of consuming crystal meth, along with his friend, he stated.
During the raid, the police also confiscated 2 ounces of hashish and 1.4 ounces of crystal meth, as well as a number of mobile phones.
"We will continue to investigate the case to find the other suspects, if any. By doing so, we can curb the number of drug cases, thereby making Solo free of drugs," he remarked. (S012/INE)
