Semarang, C Java, ANTARA JATENG - The Indonesian Employers` Association (Apindo) of Central Java supports the implementation of an advanced economic census to be conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) in August-September 2017, local Apindo Chairman Frans Kongi stated.

"We are very supportive, as ultimately, the government needs to implement future policies related to the economy," Kongi remarked here on Friday.

He noted that for the government to issue appropriate policies for business development in the country, especially in Central Java, data on the condition of running companies is one of the main capitals.

Hence, Kongi has appealed to all small- and large-scale business players in Central Java to furnish complete data during the implementation of the upcoming advanced economic census.

"The entrepreneurs need not hesitate. We will encourage them to give the actual report, as ultimately, the results of the advanced economic census will be very beneficial to the business actors. If the data provided is not correct, the government will not be able to take the right steps, and consequently, the companies will suffer huge losses," he emphasized.

The Central Java Apindo chairman expressed hope that through the results of the advanced economic census, the policies issued by the government would invigorate the business sector in Central Java.

Kongi said several aspects that still need to be given attention are the ease of investment and minimization of logistics costs, among others.
