Calang, Aceh (ANTARA) - Officers of the Aceh Nature Resources Conservation Office (BKSDA) has managed to catch a crocodile that had attacked an inhabitant of Setia Bakti Sub-district, Aceh Jaya District, Aceh Province.
The officers put a trap on June 21 and the crocodile was caught on June 30, 2019, Satirin, one of the officers, said here on Monday.
The trapped crocodile is about five meters long. The officers would wait for the river to subside before evacuating he animal to another area.
The crocodile attacked Herimadi (30), who was fishing in Sayeng River in Sawang Rambut, Gampong Baro Village, Setia Bakti, on June 16, 2019. It bit Hermadi's left hand.
