Karanganyar (Antaranews Jateng) - International musician David Foster has expressed enthusiasm about holding a concert at the historical building of "De Tjolomadoe," which will be held on Saturday (March 24) evening.

"This is my first concert in Indonesia, with a heritage nuance," he stated in a press conference at De Tjolomadoe here on Saturday.

During the concert, the famous songwriter will collaborate with foreign and local singers, such as Brian McKnight, Anggun C Sasmi, Sandhy Sandoro, Dira Sugandi, and Yura Yunita.

On the occasion, Anggun C Sasmi expressed her enthusiasm when offered to sing in the former sugar factory (PG) of Colomadu.

"At first, I was hesitant because I thought it was a factory, but after I found out that the building had been revitalized, I immediately felt the spirit of the new atmosphere as a concert venue," she remarked.

Anggun, an Indonesian singer who is a French citizen, revealed that she was interested to hold the concert in the district.

Meanwhile, the committee of the concert plans to use an indoor space with a capacity of 3 thousand audience. CEO of Rajawali Indonesia and concert promoter Anas Syahirul Alimi noted that the committee only provided some 2,100 tickets to be sold to the audience.

"We only sell 2,100 tickets, because we do not want to risk the damaged building," he explained.
